What cookies are

Cookies are small data files that a browser stores and reads to remember context and settings for a site.

In practice, websites can also use related technologies such as localStorage for lightweight preferences and consent state.

This Cookie Policy covers the Verbum public website, cookie preference center, consent-gated analytics dispatch and Stripe checkout technologies when checkout is opened. It does not describe authenticated product-session, request-protection, workspace preference or feature telemetry technologies unless those technologies are listed in the current inventory.

Why Verbum uses cookies

Verbum uses documented public website storage and checkout-related technologies to remember preferences, support consent choices and route checkout where applicable.

  • Public website operation, cookie preference records and checkout handoff where applicable.
  • Language and interface preference persistence for your public-site experience.
  • Operational reliability and routing behavior in checkout and support flows.
  • Consent-gated website analytics dispatch where enabled, lawful and backed by an approved provider.

Optional analytics runs only after consent and only when an approved provider is configured.

Third-party cookies and service providers

Where third parties are required for payment or product integration, they may set their own storage.

Stripe checkout technologies are listed in the current inventory for checkout flow scope. Optional analytics is listed as Verbum consent storage and remains blocked until consent, provider approval and active configuration are all present.

Vendor details and trust evidence remain available on the Subprocessors page and through qualified security/procurement review.
